New Doors Opening: Grief Recovery Work

Grief is real, Healing takes time!

Few people are prepared for a loved one's death. So when it happens, it is difficult to face.

"Bereavement" is when you grieve someone's death. Grief is a natural part of life. People express grief in their own ways and they learn

to cope at their own pace.

You can find ways to deal with the pain. There are healthy ways to work through grief. In time, your loss can become more bearable, allowing you

to lead a fulfilling life once again.

It may not seem so at firs, but you can get through this difficult time.

Losing someone close changes your life. And the pain may differ depending on whether you lose a parent, your spouse or partner, a child, an unborn child,

or your companions in life.

Your reactions to grief may vary widely from shock and disbelief to prolonged depression.

Be sure to take care of yourself. Grief can overwhelm you at first but do not neglect your own needs.
