The College of Pastoral Supervision & Psychotherapy is a theologically based covenant community, dedicated to "Recovery of Soul."
CPSP offers the following:
Accredited training and credentialing for Pastoral Psychotherapy.
Credential is certification as Diplomat in Pastoral Psychotherapy.
Accredited training and credentialing for Pastoral Supervision.
Credential is certification as Diplomat in Pastoral Supervision.
Accredited training and credentialing for Pastoral Counseling. Credential is certification as Pastoral Counselor or Associate Pastoral
Counselor.
Accredited training and credentialing for Clinical Chaplaincy. Credential is certification as Board Certified Clinical Chaplain or Board
Certified Associate Clinical
Chaplain.
MISSION STATEMENT
The College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP) offers its programs of training in Clinical Pastoral Education,
Pastoral Psychotherapy, Clinical Chaplaincy, Pastoral Counseling, and other forms of specialized ministry as a unique form of
education and ministry. The respect of the students/trainees’ person, their personal growth and development, and their personal and
professional integration is central to the CPSP mission.
CPSP offers these programs of theological education and continuing education training to clergy, seminary students, members of
religious orders and laypersons:
Accredited training and credentialing for Pastoral Psychotherapy. Credential is certification as Diplomate in Pastoral Psychotherapy.
Accredited training and credentialing for Pastoral Supervision. Credential is certification as Diplomate in Pastoral Supervision.
Accredited training and credentialing for Pastoral Counseling. Credential is certification as Pastoral Counselor or Associate Pastoral
Counselor.
Accredited training and credentialing for Clinical Chaplaincy. Credential is certification as Board Certified Clinical Chaplain or Board
Certified Associate Clinical Chaplain.
Theological schools may give academic credit for work successfully completed in these various programs in accordance with the credit
system of each school.

The College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP) seeks to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics.
Therefore members covenant to work together with colleagues, students, clients and institutions in an attitude characterized by
